Fallon & Lio's Wedding
Toronto Botanical Gardens Wedding | Toronto Wedding Photography
When Fallon and Lio first contacting me about their wedding day, I was very excited to meet them. I could tell through their emails that they had a great energy about them – this was only further confirmed during our first video meeting. They were all smiles and laughs and were just WONDERFUL!
Our engagement photoshoot took place in the fall at the base of the Scarborough Bluffs in Toronto – and incredible location with clay cliffs stretching up over the Lake Ontario shoreline. My initial impression of these two lovebirds was spot on – they truly were all smiles and laughs and bubbly positivity! I loved the photos that we captured at their session – they are still some of my favourite to date!
Fallon and Lio’s wedding day took place at the Toronto Botanical Garden – an incredible spot for a day visit, let alone a gorgeous wedding! We started the day with Fallon’s preparation, followed by their emotional first look at one of the Garden’s bridges. I’ve NEVER seen a groom jump two feet in the air and then burst into happy tears upon seeing his bride – but that’s what Lio did, and I have to admit, it made me emotional as well!
Their first look was followed by our photoshoot, then their beautiful ceremony, family photos, bridal party photos, and finally the reception.
I am so honoured to have been by Fallon and Lio’s side on their perfect day!
“As we were planning our wedding, we booked a photographer that fit our budget but quickly realized it was not the the person we wanted. My wife found Ema and showed me her work. We both were stunned by the quality of her work. Next thing you know we had a quick Skype chat with her and immediately hit it off. We booked her for our engagement shoot and when we got the picture? What a bliss it was. We still use those pictures today.
Come the wedding day, Ema was on time, funny, very professional and playful all at the same time. It just feels great to work with her. She truly showed her passion for photography. I remember thinking I can’t wait to see those pictures. We just got them yesterday! Only one word: Wooooow. I was so happy with the detailed work, I picked up my phone to thank her. She made our wedding literally the most memorable day of our life.
I recommended her to a coworker who also attended our wedding and i am writing to tell you: if you looking for a great photographer, quality work, passionate and professionalism, don’t think twice, Book Ema Wedding Co. – you will not regret it.” – Lio
Katarina & Aleks' Wedding
Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Wedding Photography Kitchener
Katarina’s sister and I went to University together, so when Katarina and Aleks reached out to me for their wedding photography, I was extra excited! We set up a video call and lo and behold, Aleks and I recognized each other from the gym I used to go to! It was a small world moment – one of many I have had over the years!
These two love birds were married at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church in Kitchener, with their reception taking place next door at the associated banquet hall. I was excited to photograph another Serbian wedding, as I speak the language and enjoy not only getting a chance to practice it, but to also be part of some of my cultural festivities!
Katarina and Aleks’ wedding photography took place at nearby Victoria Park in Kitchener. I had a great time working with this fun, boisterous group!
Sam & Laura's Engagement
Guelph Engagement Photography | Arboretum | LGBT
I first met Sam at her sister’s wedding the previous year – she was one of the MC’s and she was HILARIOUS!
When I received an email from her saying she and her partner Laura were now engaged and interested in booking me for their wedding and engagement photography, I was ecstatic! We met at the University of Guelph Arboretum during the peak of the fall colour to capture their fun, affectionate engagement session. I love these photos and cannot wait to see them next fall for their beautiful wedding!
Lindsey & Neil's Wedding
St Marys Golf Club Wedding | Kitchener Wedding Photography
Lindsey and Neil’s big day took place at St. Mary’s Golf Club, on a beautiful, sunny day this past summer!
The big day started with quick stops at both Neil and Lindsey’s respective spots for preparation photos, followed by their emotional ceremony on the lovely golf course grounds. The ceremony was followed by family photos and bridal party photos on the golf course grounds. This bridal party group was SO MUCH FUN! Many laughs were had.
Lindsey and Neil were so lovely and easy to work with, and I LOVE the images that we captured on their big day!

Vicki & Mike's Wedding
The Tannery Wedding Photography | Kitchener Wedding Photographer
Vicki and Mike’s gorgeous wedding took place at The Tannery in Kitchener!
I had such a great time working with this lovely couple. We started with photography of Vicki’s preparation, followed a by a first look at one of the historic buildings in central Kitchener. It was a rainy day so we had to adjust our timeline a bit to make use of the sunshine between the spurts of rain. You’d never know from these photos that we had that kind of weather!
Our bridal party photoshoot took place nearby at beautiful Victoria Park, followed by the ceremony and reception at the Tannery! So much fun!
Maureen & James' Wedding
Barn Wedding Photography | Guelph Wedding Photography
This past summer I was fortunate to work with the extremely lovely Maureen and James!
Maureen and James created a gorgeous wedding day for themselves and their family and friends at Burnside Farms in Acton, Ontario. Their charming ceremony took place at Hillsburg Baptist Church.
We started the day at Maureen’s family’s home with her preparation photos. When James and his side arrived, we did an adorable first look on the property, then proceeded to the Farm for photography prior to their ceremony. We then regrouped back at the farm for family photography and for their AMAZINGLY FUN reception! We were fortunate with a beautiful sunny day, so we were able to capture some sunset photos as well.
I had a great time with these two lovebirds!

Aurie & Mitch's Engagement
University of Western Ontario Engagement Photography
Mitch and Aurie’s engagement session took place at the iconic campus of Western University, where they had met. The gorgeous classic stone buildings on campus were a perfect backdrop for the engagement photos…and we were lucky that we were also able to take some photos inside one of the beautiful auditoriums where they had attended lectures!
I absolutely adore when couples incorporate the story of how they met into their engagement and wedding photos to truly tell their love story!
These two were an absolute delight to work with and I cannot wait for their wedding day!
Crystal & Mathew's Engagement
Guelph Spring Blossoms Engagement
Crystal first came across my work on Instagram…and as it turned out, I already knew her fiance Mathew from many years ago when we collaborated on a film project together! So, it was a small world moment for them when Mathew saw that she was checking out my work on IG.
We met for coffee a few weeks later and hit it off, so I was super happy when Crystal and Mathew decided to hire me for their wedding photography! We planned a spring engagement session during the beautiful magnolia blossoms and it was just PERFECTION. Even the wind was perfect…I mean, come on, look at how beautifully windswept Crystal’s hair is in some of these photographs!
So much fun 🙂 I cannot wait for this gorgeous couple’s wedding day!
Ceri & Ryan's Engagement
Candid Coffee Shop Engagement Photography | Kitchener Waterloo
Ceri and Ryan wanted their winter engagement session to start in a place very special to them – Princess Cafe in Waterloo! This charming cafe is no stranger to requests from couples for engagement photos at their location, since so many couples have had their first dates there!
After the fun candid moments at Princess Cafe, we proceeded to Victoria Park in Kitchener for some lovely outdoor winter photos.
I loveee these fun candid photos of Ceri and Ryan and can’t wait for their wedding day in winter of 2020 at Langdon Hall and The Cambridge Mill!
