Richmond Hill Wedding Photography | Meaghan + Ryan
Holland Landing | East Gwillimbury Wedding Photography
Meaghan, Ryan, and I first worked together in 2019 at their chilly but beautiful winter engagement photoshoot in Cambridge. They had been engaged in 2018 and had their wedding set for 2020. Well, we all know what happened in 2020 – and like many couples, Meaghan and Ryan pushed their wedding ahead towards hopefully more certain times. It was summer 2022 by the time we saw each other again! We laughed at how the last few years had felt simultaneously like an eternity and yet also passed in the blink of an eye. They commented how in the four years since their engagement, their flower girl had grown into a flower teenager!
It was a warm and beautiful day when I met up with first Ryan, then Meaghan, at their respective getting-ready locations in the Holland Landing area to photograph their preparation and detail photos. We then proceeded to their ceremony and reception location, a gorgeous bnb in nearby Richmond Hill. It was a lovely ceremony, followed by family photos and a fun, candid, bridal party photoshoot. The reception was lively and the dessert table delectable!
I had a wonderful time with this wonderful couple and am honoured to have been their photographer <3

Fenelon Falls Wedding Photographer | Victoria + Derek
Fenelon Falls Wedding Photography
Victoria and Derek’s beautiful wedding day took place in Fenelon Falls, at Victoria’s family’s gorgeous property. I’ve photographed a handful of weddings in Fenelon Falls, and I always love the cottage country feel. I met up with Derek and then Victoria at their respective getting-ready locations – Derek at a waterfront AirBNB and then Victoria at the family homestead. I love photographing the preparation coming together and seeing the day unfold.
With the final touches applied and the dress put on, Victoria had an emotional first look with her bridesmaids and then with her father behind the house, while Derek and the groomsmen started the ceremony proceedings outside, on the opposite side of the home past a wooded area. The ceremony took place with the lovely late afternoon sun, and overlooked a beautiful little lake and fountain. Uniquely, in my 15+ years of wedding photography, this was the first time I had seen a ceremony which featured a butterfly release! The monarch butterflies seemed more eager to stay put on their fingers than fly away, which was pretty darn cute 🙂
After the ceremony, we took care of family photos and the bridal party photoshoot, then proceeded to the quonset hut which had been beautifully decorated into an amazing reception space.
As you’ll see in the gallery below, Victoria has such a beautiful smile, and this wedding day was full laughs and positive energy!
I had a great time working with Victoria and Derek and wish them all the best!

KW Wedding Photography | Nicole + Trevor
Backyard Wedding | Kitchener Wedding Photographer
Nicole and Trevor celebrated their beautiful wedding day with a lively backyard wedding in Kitchener. We had such a great time at their engagement session and I was truly looking forward to their wedding day!
We met at a gorgeous property in Kitchener, where Nicole arrived with her hair and make up complete, and only the final touches before the big reveal. Her mum helped her with her veil, then we were off to the first look with Trevor, who was waiting anxiously to see her. Their emotional first look was followed by a super fun bridal party photoshoot! Their bridal party was BIG and consisted of childhood friends they had known for many years. It was very sweet!
Following the bridal party photos, we headed off to the ceremony (more tears!), family photos, and sunset photos!
It was truly a magical day and I am so happy to have spent it with Nicole and Trevor and their closest family and friends!

Tapestry Hall Wedding Photography | Kate + Justin
Cambridge Wedding Photographer
Word of mouth is so key in this line of work and I am always honoured and grateful when clients of mine refer their loved ones to me for their wedding photography! Kate and Justin were referred to me by Marissa and Ryan, whose wedding I had photographed at the very beginning of my career over a decade ago!
When I first met Kate and Justin in person at Justin’s family cottage for their incredible engagement photoshoot (featuring a drone and boat!), I knew we would have an amazing time at their wedding, too.
On the big day, my associate photographer Avan and I started the day at Langdon Hall in Cambridge for Kate and Justin’s preparation, followed by an emotional first look on the Langdon Hall grounds. We then proceeded to the chapel at Doon Heritage Village for the ceremony (where Justin’s parents had been married a few decades prior!), and finally, off to the beautifully-decorated Tapestry Hall in Cambridge for their super fun reception!

Osteria Rialto Wedding Toronto | Krysten + Evan
Art Deco Wedding Toronto | Toronto Wedding Photographer
Krysten and I first met many years ago through our mutual work with The Gemini Agency, where she was signed as a model. We worked together on many photoshoots including a few bridal creatives, and if you’ve ever had a video call with me, you may recognize her from prints that are framed behind me on my office wall!
Krysten and Evan have a wonderful love story, and I was so excited to hear from her when Evan proposed and they were officially engaged! We had a great time at their engagement session and I couldn’t wait for their wedding day to finally arrive!
On their wedding day, we started the day at the iconic Westin Harbour Castle Hotel on the waterfront in Toronto for Krysten and Evan’s preparation and first look, and then proceeded through a busy day on the Toronto streets to the Osteria Rialto restaurant. This art-deco inspired Italian restaurant is where we took care of Krysten and Evan’s urban wedding photos (including some favourites inside the beautifully decorated venue!). Photos were followed by the ceremony, even more photos, and a lively reception!
I am in love with these images and hope you scroll through the entire gallery to see all of my favourites!

“Ema has been my trusted, go-to photographer for over 10 years. When it was time to book a photographer for my wedding, there was no question about who it would be! And as usual I was BLOWN AWAY by her work. She captured all the beautiful moments of our day and it was absolutely wonderful to relive everything through her photos. Plus, Ema happens to be an amazing person who is so fun to shoot with. I can’t recommend her enough for your special events!” – Krysten
Spring Sunset Arboretum Engagement | Krysten + Evan
University of Guelph Arboretum Engagement
Krysten and Evan’s beautiful engagement photoshoots took place at sunset in the University of Guelph Arboretum space! Weather is always a wildcard when it comes to outdoor photoshoots, and we were forced to reschedule quite a few times before we finally landed on a perfect day for photos. And WOW was it ever perfect!
I loved these photos and couldn’t wait to photograph Krysten and Evan’s Toronto wedding!

Romantic Sunset Engagement Photos Guelph | Ryan + Ryan
University of Guelph Arboretum Engagement
Ryan and Ryan (not a typo!) are a fun loving couple who wanted a beautiful sunset engagement session to commemorate their love! I’m a big fan of the University of Guelph Arboretum space and thought it would be the perfect location for their session. Candid Sunset Engagement Photography | Nicole + Trevor
University of Guelph Arboretum Engagement
Nicole and Trevor wanted a rustic sunset engagement photography session with a focus on fun candid photos, and I was happy to oblige! These photos were taken on a warm and sunny April evening at the University of Guelph Arboretum space (one of my favourite locations for photos!). We stuck to the open fields at the park to capture these beautiful images. I loved Nicole and Trevor’s energy – it was easy to capture their love for one another!

Elora Mill & Elora Gorge Engagement Photography | Rebecca + Mark
Elora Ontario Engagement and Wedding Photographer
Rebecca and Mark wanted to celebrate their engagement with photography in and around the charming town of Elora. They loved the old stone buildings of the historic Elora Mill, and the beautiful Elora Gorge as well of course! We met up for these fun engagement photos on a lovely autumn day, taking advantage of the beautiful fall colours in Victoria Park, the cute streets around Elora Mill, and the scenic gorge! I loved their easy going nature and Rebecca’s amazing laugh!
