Cambridge Ontario Micro / Mini Wedding
Ailar and Cody’s beautiful Langdon Hall micro-wedding was just lovely. Like so many couples, Ailar and Cody had to go with the flow due to shifting covid measures, and ultimately they were happy to opt for a mini-wedding with their closest family and friends.
We started their big day with their couples’ photoshoot on the beautiful Langdon Hall property, followed by family photos, and their ceremony and reception in Colonel Langdon’s room and conservatory. Ailar’s mum prepared a beautiful Sofreh Aghd – an elaborate “wedding table” traditional to Persian culture – for their big day. Like the couple, it was lovely!
It was a perfect day spent laughing with Ailar and Cody. I wish them nothing but the best in their life together!
Like many couples, Katlyn and Jarrett found themselves rescheduling their wedding in 2020 due to the covid-19 pandemic, to 2021. Unfortunately due to ongoing lockdowns, Katlyn and Jarrett were not able to have a large wedding, and instead opted for a “micro-wedding” with their closest family and friends. Their lovely wedding ceremony took place at Royal City Mission in Guelph, with photography at the University of Guelph Arboretum and a friend’s beautiful farm!

Arman and Harir were married earlier in the year, however due to covid-19 lockdowns, they weren’t able to have a photoshoot as part of their elopement. I was honoured to be asked to be their photographer for their belated wedding day photoshoot! I love these images that we captured at Victoria Park in Kitchener.
Wedding Photography at Riverview Estate, Norwich Ontario
Riverview Estate is a STUNNING new wedding and event venue located in Norwich, Ontario. The owners of the estate needed branding images and video for their website and social media launch, and I was honoured to be asked to be their photographer. We teamed up with Gabriela Soares (@GlamGirlGabi) and her handsome husband Tony for these images showcasing the beautiful Riverview property.

Jaana and I first met nearly 15 years ago when we both worked at a plant nursery. Thanks to the beauty of social media, we had been in each others’ “circle” ever since – so I was excited when she and her fiancée Briana reached out to me for their engagement and wedding photography! As it turned out, Briana was also the cousin of another client of mine, whose wedding photos she had seen some years earlier as well. Another serendipitous small world moment which are quite plentiful in my life!
Jaana and Briana’s beautiful wedding took place at Rebel Creek Golf Club in Petersburg. We started the day with preparation photography of both Briana and Jaana’s respective sides, then met at Rebel Creek for an emotional first look. Jaana’s emotion when seeing Briana in her wedding dress was so touching! After some bridal party photography, Jaana and Briana tied the knot during a lovely ceremony.
The day was truly perfect and I am honoured to have spent the day capturing Jaana and Briana’s memories!
Like many couples, Mackenzie and Andrew found themselves planning a wedding during the COVID pandemic this year. It’s certainly been an unprecedented year for many industries, and the wedding industry has not been exempt from the effects of coronavirus.
Instead of throwing a big event, Mackenzie and Andrew opted for a smaller more intimate ceremony at the Stratford Shakespearean Gardens with their bubble and their closest family and friends. I’ve been to these beautiful well-manicured gardens before, and was excited to photograph them there as well!
We started with their bride & groom photoshoot around the gardens, and then proceeded to the ceremony which was live-streamed to their loved ones abroad. These two are HILARIOUS – Instead of rings, they exchanged their baby girl during the ceremony! I’ve photographed more weddings than I can count and this was not something I’d seen before – the crowd burst into laughter (myself included).
It was truly a special day and I am honoured to have captured it for Mackenzie and Andrew, and their family and friends!
Timea and Jonathan wanted a colour autumn photoshoot to celebrate their engagement! I recommended the University of Guelph Arboretum which is a go-to location for photography of all kinds, especially when the autumn colours begin to show.
It was actually a misty, rainy day and I was worried that we would have to reschedule our session – but thankfully the rain stopped and we were able to have our photoshoot as planned. The park was ablaze in gorgeous colour and there were countless locations to choose from for photos! We had lots of laughs and captured beautiful photos in the process. I can’t wait for their wedding day in May!
Though 2020 has been a bit of an odd year (to say the least), it’s been lovely to be able to work with couples on numerous engagement sessions, elopements, and smaller weddings. And it’s always nice for me to be able to hit the road and photograph couples in a new location!
I was excited to be invited to Stephanie and Trevor’s beautiful farmhouse property for these fall engagement photos. It was a cold day with a bit of rain, but we still made the absolute best of it!
Cathedral Church of St. James Engagement Photography Toronto
I was so happy when Racquel and Jacques first reached out to me. Though our friend circles didn’t quite overlap, Racquel and I actually went to high school together! She and Jacques observed me from afar as I photographed their friends Fallon and Lio‘s gorgeous Toronto wedding, and they liked what they saw so they reached out to me. It’s always neat when new clients approach me after having seen me and my team at work at weddings they’ve attended. It’s really a first interview of sorts!
Though their 2020 wedding plans were put on hold like most of my couples due to Covid, we had an amazing engagement session at the iconic Cathedral Church of St. James in Toronto. This incredible church was built over three years starting in 1850, and has been a Toronto landmark ever since.
We had a wonderful time capturing these images, and I am now waiting patiently for Racquel and Jacques’ wedding in 2021!
Karine and Brian were one of those couples who were just so incredibly lovely to work with. We first met for their engagement session in Kitchener at Huron Natural Area, where we had a beautiful photoshoot amongst the fields and flowers. With their sense of humour and laid-back energy, I knew we would have a wonderful time at their wedding day!
Almost a full year later, their wedding day rolled around! We met during the early summer blossoms at their family property in Cambridge, where I began photography with Karine putting on her dress, followed by a touching first look with Brian in the spacious backyard. We had a lovely photoshoot around the property, and across the road in a gorgeous field! It was then time for their ceremony, in (believe it or not) a highly polished and stylish garage building on the property. We then proceeded to Cambridge, where we captured some gorgeous photos around the lovely limestone buildings and bridge in the downtown area, and inside EVO Kitchen, where their stylish reception took place.
Though the clouds threatened rain that day, we had a seamless photography experience and captured such beautiful photos! It was a lovely day and I am honoured to have spent it with Karine and Brian.
