Sarah & Tom's Wedding

I had an amazing time with them during their spring time engagement shoot and knew that their wedding would be a blast.

Lindsay & Jamie’s Engagement took place in Graffiti Alley on Queen Street in Toronto – I loved the contrast between their engagement shoot and their wedding photography. So much fun!

“My husband and I could not be happier than to have worked with Ema. From our engagement photos, to finally, our big day, she was able to catch every moment in an amazing, perfect and artistic way. Her eye and creativity really show through each and every frame. Say goodbye to “saying cheese” and hello to catching the moment in the moment; making real memories that will always last. The fact that Ema was able to catch our goofy personalities in a still photo is still beyond me. We 100% recommend Ema to anyone who wants pictures they will enjoy looking back on years down the road, we could not be more thrilled!” – Kylie

“We had the privilege of having Ema do both our engagement photos and our wedding day. We cannot say enough positive things about our experience with her as our photographer! She was so wonderful to work with and made us feel comfortable around the camera. Even my husband who is not a fan of getting his photo taken, was relaxed and even enjoying the experience. Ema captured so many of our special moments; it’s like watching a movie of the day. Now we will have these memories for a lifetime. Thank you Ema!” – Lauren

Guelph Arboretum Engagement
It’s been a gorgeous and very warm fall season and I feel incredibly fortunate to have been able to spend so much of it outdoors. I’ve since been tackling a to-edit list that was growing rapidly as a result, and I’m looking forward to sharing lots of images on the blog in the coming weeks!
A few weeks ago I had this lovely shoot with Marissa and Dave at the University of Guelph Arboretum. The Arboretum is a huge beautiful park right on campus that features everything from swamps and forests to manicured themed gardens. If you haven’t been there, I highly recommend a visit! Marissa is a friend of mine from university, and at one point about ten years ago we lived right across from each other in a quaint little townhouse complex in the south end of Guelph. Shortly after she and Dave got engaged, they bumped into me at a winter wedding show and booked me for their wedding day. I loved working with these two, and their beautiful happy-go-lucky dog Remi.
So much fun!
Rockwood Engagement Photography
I’m a very lucky photographer in that I’ve worked with so many amazing couples and clients – but once in a while I am an extra lucky photographer in that I meet a couple whom I feel like I have already known forever! This was exactly the case with Christy and Justin. Christy found my work through a mutual friend on Instagram (Yay! All my time curating my Instagram profile is actually working!), and reached out to me through this website.
We arranged to meet over coffee in Kitchener, where we ended up weathering a serious rain storm. But, we were all in good company with one another because asides from actually discussing their upcoming wedding in Algonquin Park, we spent most of the time laughing and telling stories. So much fun! This is exactly the kind of meeting I walk away from thinking, “Pick me! Pick me!” because I know how much fun we will all have on their wedding day.
We photographed Christy and Justin’s engagement photos at Rockwood Conservation Area. They had seen my photos of Dana and Eric’s wedding in this beautiful setting and loved them! So, that is where we met for their engagement session, where I got to spend more time with this fun and often silly couple!
I can’t wait to photograph their wedding day!
Guelph Engagement Photography
Dana and Eric are good friends of mine, and when they became engaged I was honoured and humbled when they came straight to me for their engagement and wedding photography! Particularly since Dana had worked as a wedding show organizer, who had access to hundreds other photographers to choose from! I was so excited to work with them.
We photographed their engagement session in the University of Guelph Arboretum, right at the peak of fall colour. Their wedding the next summer was absolutely beautiful!
Rockwood Engagement Photography
Ever since Dana and Eric’s gorgeous wedding this past summer, I have had a few requests for engagement sessions at Rockwood Conservation Area. This location was gorgeous this past summer, and the fall colour this season has been spectacular.
Sabrina and Max were referred to me by my friend and colleague Michelle Maeck, who is a wedding planner and runs A Dream to Call Your Own. They were very eager to book! In our meeting I could tell that we were likeminded and would get along wonderfully. We photographed their engagement session in Rockwood at the peak of the beautiful fall colours. Perfect timing!
Sabrina and Max were so easy to work with – super affectionate and very silly (my favourite combination). Their wedding day is going to be amazing!
