Working with Natalie and Adam was a creative dream from start to finish. As two talented professionals in the film industry (costume and set design), they brought their artistic flair and vision into every detail of their wedding day…and it showed!

I first met this wonderful couple during their engagement session, where Natalie wore a stunning red dress that she had sewn herself! We braved the icy waters of a beautiful waterfall together to capture some truly unforgettable images, and I knew then that their wedding would be something extraordinary.

Their celebration at Hessenland Winery in Grand Bend was a vibrant, joyful gathering filled with personality. From the saturated reds, maroons, and jewel tones to Natalie’s matte black nails (a perfect touch!), every visual element was rich, moody, and beautiful. Their styling was bold and unique which I felt was a true reflection of their personalities and relationship.

What stood out even more than the aesthetics, though, was the energy. Natalie and Adam have the kind of unfiltered, uninhibited laughs that make candid photos pure gold. Their friends and family brought the same uplifting, joyful spirit, making the entire day feel like one big celebration of love and creativity.

With my secondary photography Leigh, we explored the winery grounds together for portraits, then slipped away to the beach at sunset — and wow. The golden light, the waves, and the magic between these two made for some of my all-time favourite wedding photos.

Natalie and Adam were a joy to photograph and a true pleasure to work with. I feel so lucky to have been part of their day!

Some weddings feel extra close to the heart, and Tyson and Gordon’s was definitely one of them. Tyson and I met well over a decade ago when he was modelling with a local agency, and we worked together on countless shoots over the years. Later, when he became an event coordinator at the iconic Elora Mill, I’d run into him often while photographing my couples there, which was always such a lovely full-circle moment. So when he and Gordon got engaged and chose me to document their wedding, I was incredibly honoured. With all the photographers Tyson has worked with throughout his career, the fact that he reached out to me meant the world!

We had an amazing engagement session, and their wedding day was just as joyful, meaningful, and downright fun.

Their wedding day began with quiet preparations at Cedarcliffe Estates, as Tyson and Gordon enjoyed the morning with their family and friends, and then helped one another get ready for the rest of the day. This was followed by emotional first looks with each of their moms. We then found our way to the river at Elora Gorge, where they shared private vows together (using their tried and true rock-paper-scissors method to decide who should go first!). The river was a perfect setting for these memorable moments. We proceeded to The Foundry building where we captured family photos, followed by their ceremony which was full of warmth, happy tears, and so much support. Did I mention their grandmothers were their flower girls!?

After the ceremony, we moved seamlessly into wedding party/friend photos both inside the Foundry and outdoors in the beautiful surroundings. Their groom-and-groom photo session was full of laughter, connection, and all the natural chemistry they share. Tyson and Gordon wanted to get a sneak peek of their reception decor and shared a private (and very sweet) first dance in their reception hall before enjoying cocktail hour with friends and family – and a gorgeous champagne tower. We ended the evening with a formal reception, a fun dance party, and some dreamy sunset portraits by on the river lookout that wrapped the day up perfectly.

The extra cherry on top was that Tyson and Gordon’s wedding and a few of their fave photos were also published Toronto Life’s Real Weddings feature! SO much fun!

It was a true privilege to document Tyson and Gordon’s love story from engagement to wedding day.

If you’re planning your own celebration and looking for a photographer who values connection, storytelling, and making the experience enjoyable from start to finish, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s create something beautiful together.

They’re a truly kind and easygoing couple, and their connection made capturing meaningful moments feel effortless. From the quiet anticipation before the ceremony to the celebration with loved ones, their day was full of beautiful, genuine emotion.

On this day, we were treated to a perfect day. Some of my favourite images from the entire celebration were captured as the light softened into the evening and Leah and Landon had a few quiet moments together outdoors.

Romantic Airport Engagement Photos with a Private Plane | Briana + Barrett

Waterloo Region Airport Engagement Photography

When Briana and Barrett envisioned their engagement photos, they wanted something as unique and special as their love story. As a pilot, Barrett brought an aviation theme to their life, and when Briana contacted me to inquire about their engagement photos, I was excited for a unique opportunity to take their photos at the Waterloo Region Airport!  Barrett was able to secure a stunning (and shiny!) Pilatus propeller plane as our backdrop, and the couple’s retro-inspired wardrobe added a timeless charm to the photos – perfectly complementing the vintage aviation vibe.

The day began with a touch of drama…a rainy morning threatened to ground our plans, but the skies cleared just in time, blessing us with soft, glowing evening light.  From heartfelt moments on the tarmac to playful poses alongside and inside the plane, this shoot was a celebration of love, adventure, and a little bit of old-school glamour!

Briana and Barrett were an absolute joy to work with, with their warmth and enthusiasm shining through in every frame. I was so excited to have the opportunity to create something truly one-of-a-kind for them, and we’re all thrilled with how the photos turned out.

Capturing Catherine and Eduardo’s fall engagement photos in Elora, Ontario, was an absolute pleasure. We explored the beautiful scenes of Victoria Park and the Elora Gorge at sunset, which provided a magical backdrop for their natural smiles and genuine love for each other. A fun highlight was heading to Lover’s Leap, where I had the chance to capture a few unique drone shots—it was the first time I’d seen this stunning lookout from above, and it didn’t disappoint!

Catherine and Eduardo’s warmth and laughter made the session feel effortless. Their joy and connection shine through each image, and I can’t wait to work with them again on their wedding day this winter.

Canadian Forces College Wedding Toronto | Michelle + Kelly

Canadian Forces College Wedding | Michelle + Kelly

Toronto Wedding Photographer

I recently had the honor of photographing Michelle and Kelly’s beautiful wedding at the historic Canadian Forces College in Toronto, Ontario. This special day was even more meaningful because Michelle and I go way back—about 15 years ago, we worked together on several editorial fashion and beauty photoshoots. Michelle was always such a joy to work with as a model, so I was thrilled when she reached out to me after all these years to capture her wedding day.

The Canadian Forces College provided a stunning backdrop for their ceremony, and the love and happiness shared between Michelle and Kelly made every shot truly special. From the intimate moments to the grand celebrations, I captured memories that I hope they will cherish forever.

For couples looking for a wedding photographer in Toronto, capturing your unique story through imagery is key to preserving the emotions of your special day. Whether you’re getting married at an iconic venue like the Canadian Forces College or elsewhere in Toronto, my goal is to provide you with timeless wedding photos that you’ll love for years to come.

Elora Ontario LGBT Wedding Photographer

I’m thrilled to share the stunning engagement photos of Tyson and Gordon, a couple whose love story is as beautiful as the backdrop of their shoot. Tyson and I share a special connection, having collaborated numerous times over the last decade during his modelling days with Kitchener-based The Gemini Agency. Now, as a special event manager at the picturesque Elora Mill, Tyson has transitioned from being in front of the camera to orchestrating unforgettable moments behind the scenes. When Tyson approached me to photograph his and Gordon’s engagement, I was deeply honoured, knowing he had countless photographers to choose from through his work.

Their engagement session was a delightful blend of personal and picturesque, set against the stunning Elora Mill property where their wedding will also take place. We captured their love in the charming nooks and elegant spaces of the Mill (including the dramatic wine cellar!), a venue that holds a special place in their hearts. The shoot continued to the serene beauty of nearby Victoria Park and the breathtaking river gorge, providing a perfect natural complement to the historic charm of Elora Mill.

Working with Tyson and Gordon was an absolute joy. Their chemistry is palpable, and their laughter and love made every shot effortless. I am grateful for the trust they placed in me to capture these precious moments and am excited to see them tie the knot at the very place where these photos were taken.

Tyson and Gordon, thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey and for sharing your beautiful story with the world!

Send me a message and I’d be happy to chat about your engagement and wedding photography!

Whistle Bear Wedding Photography | Taylor + Mike

Whistle Bear Wedding Photography | Taylor + Mike

Kitchener Waterloo Wedding Photographer

Taylor and Mike’s Whistle Bear wedding photography took place on a perfect, sunny day in late August.  When I arrived at the golf club, I met up with Taylor and her bridesmaids who were just about finished with their preparation prior to the ceremony.  Taylor’s gorgeous wedding dress was hung elegantly in the window of the Forestview Room, and her flowers and details were ready to be photographed! Once the dress was on, Taylor had an emotional first look with her bridesmaids – and then it was time for the ceremony in the Garden Chapel.  Their touching ceremony was followed by family and bridal party photos on the beautiful Whistle Bear grounds, with stunning sunset photos later in the evening during golden hour.

I had a wonderful time working with this very sweet couple!

Western University Wedding Photography | Han + Linjie

Western University Wedding Photography | Han + Linjie

London Ontario Wedding Photographer

I’ve been fortunate to work with countless wonderful couples over the last 15 years of my wedding photography career. Sometimes, a couple reaches out to you and in their emails alone exude such kindness, grace, and positivity that I just KNOW we’re going to have an exquisite time working together! When I first received an email from Han, it was so wonderfully obvious that she was such a lovely person – I couldn’t wait to meet her and Linjie! We had a whimsical winter engagement photoshoot and sure enough – my suspicions that they were an incredible couple were confirmed. I was so excited for their wedding day to arrive!

And finally, it did! Han and Linjie’s wedding took place on campus at Western University in London, Ontario, where they had met, on a beautiful (and very hot!) spring day in May.  We started the day’s wedding photography with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony in their home with their parents, followed by a first look with Han in her wedding dress on campus at the University.  We took bridal party and couples’ photos around the lovely campus followed by their touching, emotional ceremony at the Beryl Ivey Garden.  We then captured lots of great family photos in front of the iconic University College building, and had a lovely reception in the IGAB building.  Western turned out to be a fantastic wedding venue, especially since it was so meaningful to Han and Linjie.  I’m truly honoured to have worked with them and I hope that we see each other again some day!!

Send me an email and I’d be happy to chat about your wedding day!
