Hey there! My name is Laurie, and I’m a professional photographer based in Ontario, and available for assignments worldwide!

I’ve always had a love for photography.  As a child, I set out to capture timeless images of anything that would cross my path. I was especially interested in waterfront or sunsets and the colours they would transition through in mere minutes. In high school I crafted my own pinhole camera and first set foot in a dark room!  Nearly 20 years later, I am still at it and I’m lucky to be a part of Nikon Professional Services and am an insured professional. High fives to adulting!

After spending over 15 years working with GEMINI Modelling Agency as an event producer, and project and people manager, I chose to follow my heart and pursue a career in photography!

I enjoy a wide variety of photography, including fashion, beauty, commercial, portrait, food, and event photography.  I love the variety of work that photography allows.  I’m lucky as a photographer to be able to transition from shooting portraits to photographing a delicious meal. “Yes, work it spaghetti! Show me you want to be eaten!” Haha!

I love to strive for perfection and I am captivated when someone sees themselves through my perspective for the first time!  I specialize with those who are awkward in front of the camera – my 15 year career with GEMINI Modelling Agency included extensive teaching and coaching both new and experienced models on posing.  So together, I know that we can achieve that natural, “oh it’s so you” image!

Outside of photography, I LOVE travel, food, yoga, beef jerky and a great glass of red wine. I can be found on my time off taking my autistic brother out around town or cuddled up with a great book and a cup of tea.
