Ema Suvajac, Owner and Lead Photographer
I have always had a love for photography – running around with a camera from early childhood, I set out to capture images of my family, friends, and nature. Over ten years ago while in university completing an undergraduate degree, I joined (and shortly thereafter began to help run) the Photo Arts Club at the University of Guelph – and it was meant to be!
My earliest work focused on portraits, landscapes, and macro photography – and as my skills grew, I began to photograph creative fashion and beauty work. My fashion, beauty, and commercial work has been published in magazines both locally and internationally, and can be found on my sister-site, www.emasuvajac.com.
Candid, romantic, colourful, and timeless. I avoid trendy filters so that you will love your photos not just now, but for a lifetime!
My goal is to ensure that you are comfortable in front of the camera on your big day.
Meeting new people – which is great in this business! I am a fur baby mama to two adorable mischievous cats, Pixel and Libby. I love fitness and weightlifting, and I adore travelling and photographing new places!
Easy going, friendly, silly, and I love a good laugh! Conversely I am also extremely organized and goal-oriented, which is indispensable when running a business!
My approach to photography is fun, friendly, enthusiastic, passionate, and professional. I absolutely LOVE meeting and working with new people, and I am extremely comfortable guiding individuals who are not experienced in front of the camera. I do have a bit of a silly side – I love making people laugh! My goal with every couples’ wedding photos is to capture memories in beautiful, candid elegance that they will cherish for a lifetime.
I absolutely love that my work allows me to travel, and I have seen and captured some incredible places. I am also a cat-momma to two mischievous fluff-balls who love to demand my attention when I’m at my desk editing photos! And, when I’m not honing my craft as a productive desk potato, I enjoy picking up heavy things and putting them back down again…no seriously, I love weightlifting 🙂
