It was such a special experience photographing Samantha and Jonathan’s wedding at Elle by Stella in St. Jacobs, Ontario. Sam is related to one of my very first brides, Marissa, and over the years I’ve had the pleasure of working with their family on a variety of personal and professional photography projects. It meant so much that Sam and Jon entrusted me with documenting such an important chapter in their lives.

When we arrived at Elle by Stella, it was clear the day would be something special. Sam and Jon are two of the most genuine, down-to-earth, and hilarious people I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing! Their wedding day was overflowing with laughter and silliness! My associate photographer Leigh was my incredible secondary photographer throughout the day, and together we had so much fun capturing every meaningful moment.

The day began with bridal preparations and Jonathan’s portraits with his groomsmen, followed by an emotional first look and private vows shared in the gazebo. We then explored the beautiful grounds of Elle by Stella for wedding party portraits before their heartfelt ceremony, family photos, and truly one of the most spectacular sunset portrait sessions I’ve photographed to date. The evening wrapped up with an unforgettable reception where Sam and Jon celebrated their union with their closest family and friends.
